Client: Cushion Source, an online retailer of custom cushions.
Challenge: Develop an email welcome series to be sent to customers upon signing up for Cushion Source’s mailing list.
Solution: To entice potential customers to sign up for their email list, I created a lead magnet offering three free fabric samples. Selecting fabric is one of the first steps in creating a custom cushion, so providing free samples will encourage potential customers to begin the process of creating their custom cushions. Then, through a series of 5 emails, I introduced people to Cushion Source, addressing objections, explaining what makes Cushion Source special, and finally offering them a discount on their cushion purchase.
